Design & Details
"I wanted to bring two sarskild (Swedish - Special) things into one garment. The first is my family's home, New Zealand. In the background of the hoodie, you can see Mt Taranaki where I first felt connected with nature. This manga (Māori - Moutain) is a core memory of how nature in its true form is so beautiful and content with itself. This hoodie's imagery conveys the brand's mission to ensure all our current & future production is done ethically, sustainability and without greater harm to our surrounding environment.
The hand with a needle conveys the brand's hands-on work ethic with our community. Our current Atelier spends love, energy and time on every garment that graces your wardrobe. The energy spent with care and passion is at the forefront of standards. As a strong believer in energy, I wish to ensure that every garment absorbs it and transfers it to the client. The power of fashion is pure energy, and the ability to change anyone."
The design is also embroidered with Rayon thread created with viscose filaments produced from wood pulp.
With our embroidery process, we aim to ensure the backing of the embroidery is flat as possible to reduce irritation and any sensory concerns for individuals. This garment is pre-brushed & is advised to lint roll the inside to remove any excess fleece fibres when purchased.
Washing & Care
Our clothing is highly suggested to be washed in a delicate bag. This helps protect our custom embroidery and fleece. Please read the wash tags located at the top of the garment.
